all rear shocks the same?

all rear shocks the same?

Postby motoswami » Tue Nov 14, 2017 9:46 am

Can someone shed some light on this for me? I saw some shocks advertised for a 2000 CB750.
The fitment guide in this ad it shows they do NOT fit my 1993 CB750. I was surprised, assuming that essentially only cosmetic changes occurred through the entire 1991-2003 run of this bike, and that all suspension components would be interchangeable.

Anyone?

Shocks should be interchangeable throughout the run of the late model Nighthawk 750 (91 - 03).

I checked the part numbers on both the 1993 and 2000. They are the same...52400-MW3-671

I put aftermarket Progressive shocks on my 95. I don't recall the model number, but I got heavy duty springs to support my hefty self. Also did the fork springs.
