Nighthawk 700s Forks, Shocks, Fairing, Side covers

Postby Laminar » Mon Aug 07, 2017 2:42 pm

I have a set of forks and a set of rear shocks for a 700s.

I have a fairing/windshield/headlight assembly that I bought damaged on eBay and began repairing, but didn't finish.

I have a couple of side covers that have been partially repaired.

I'd like to get rid of them and will do so for the cost of shipping alone (from zip code 50325). If nobody wants them, they'll go in the trash. :(

I realize this thread is completely useless without pictures, I'll get some tonight.

Pictures! Also found a ball hone for a 700s and a complete wiring harness probably for a 700s.

I'll take both of the side covers and the plexiglass bit from the top of the headshell.
I just rebuilt my front forks and they're in good shape and I added reservoir shocks to the rear so I don't need any of those, and my own headshell is fine.

The painted side cover has an extra layer of clear coat on it with some junk in it, it would need a little sanding to get down to good. The part around the fuel knob is primered but not painted.

The unpainted side cover has a skim coat of filler on it, needs sanded and painted.

I checked yesterday and I'm pretty sure all mounting tabs are in place.

The three pieces should fit in a Priority Large Flat Rate box for $16.55 if that works for you.

Side covers and windshield (only, not fairing) are gone. Everything else is still up for grabs!

I have a good fairing, but no headlight bits. How much for the headlight and it's adjuster screws from the fairing? Are they even easily separable?

I'll have a look over lunch break today. A Priority flat rate medium box is $13.60.
